This map shows the modern Woolwich Arsenal area. Note that north is skewed slightly clockwise from horizontal. The Beresford entrance is at the lower left, at the "Main Guard House - Pedestrian Access." Our walk will take us directly northward to Building #40 (Royal Military Academy) where Cruickshank prepared strontium salts.
